SUEDE (“SUEDE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Aestonomy LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the SUEDE app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We aim to collect only what's needed to give you a personalized, calming self-care experience.

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic account identifiers (such as a user ID and, where provided, your email) to create and secure your account.
• Routine and preference data. The routines you follow, focus areas, mode preference, reminders, streaks, and progress you record in the app.
• Personalization inputs. When you use AI personalization or suggestions, the details you provide (such as skin type, hair type, goals, pace, and any notes you enter) are used to generate tailored recommendations.
• Subscription information. If you purchase SUEDE Pro, purchase and entitlement status is processed through the App Store and our subscription provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Basic technical data. Standard diagnostic information (such as app version and device type) that helps us keep the app working reliably.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize your routines and recommendations.
• To sync and back up your data across sessions and devices.
• To manage your subscription and unlock Pro features.
• To send reminders and affirmations you have enabled.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the app.

AI Personalization

SUEDE's personalization features use a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to generate tailored routine notes and suggestions. When you use these features, the personalization inputs you provide are sent — through our secure server — to that AI service to produce your recommendations. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. Recommendations are general guidance and are not medical advice.

Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted providers to operate the app. These may process limited data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase — authentication and secure storage of your app data.
• Apple & Google Sign-In — account sign-in.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Anthropic — AI-generated personalization and suggestions.
• Vercel — hosting for our secure personalization server.
• Expo — the framework used to build and update the app.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers above to operate the app, or where required by law.

Data Retention

We keep your account and routine data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data by deleting your account in the app or contacting us, and we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise these rights, or ask questions, by emailing us at the address below. You can also manage notifications in the app and manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.

Children's Privacy

SUEDE is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, through the app.
